An out and back permitted trek from Sabrina Lake trailhead (9100 feet), about 40 minutes driving from Bishop CA, with friends Marc Ledbetter, Bill Welch and Andrew Nicholls, up to Hungry Packer and Moonlight lakes at 11,000 feet, with camping stops at Blue and Dingleberry (yes, you heard that right) lakes. Perfect weather and despite its popularity, excellent leave no trace practices in effect.
